Eliza went to a mini cheer camp at Summit High School this week! She was a little afraid, but the sweet “big” cheerleader helped her and Eliza latched on to her on day 1. She had a blast and found a new LOVE!!!What fun is a cheer camp if you cannot do it with some of your best buds???

Callan- Baseball Spring 2013- Braves
Callan had a great season this Spring where he got to play first a lot (and did great) and pitch a little. Of course it made momma a nervous wreck, but he LOVED it! His team did well and he loved his coach (Jimmy Rowlett).
I love that he loves to have his photo taken… and he likes to make it look good!

Playing Catcher
The normal catcher for our team was on vacation for our last game of the season. Silas claimed he wanted to be catcher and enjoyed catching. In fact, all that gear he is inwas a Christmas present from Santa because he asked for it. When it came down to it, Silas hated it! Did not like catching at all. I must document for proof (for Silas later in life when he does not believe me) that he absolutely hated it. He would not stay in position (these pics must have been from the first couple of balls out of the machine), he got upset, and I believe he prayed for the inning just to end. Even the umpire tried to convince him to get in position and catch the ball. Nope, Safety Silas did not like this position at all. (Just don’t tell him we told Coach Brad that this was a position he wanted for All Stars… oops!)

NSCA Elementary Field Day
We had a great time at Granny White Park for Field Day. The kids had a blast, and I missed photos of Baylor mostly because it involved buckets of water and soaked people everywhere!

Mother’s Day Tea
The Pre-K, Kinder, and First Grade Classes hosted a Mother’s Day Tea at New Song this year. It was so sweet and brought me to tears. I had to speak to a reason that I loved my child and I was so choked up, I almost could not do it. It is a joy, honor and privilege to get to be her mom! We enjoyed some cupcakes, tea, and a sweet song written by the Creator’s Writing teacher.

Strawberry Pickin’
We made a homeschool pit stop at the Strawberry Patch. The kids LOVED it once they figured out how to search out the GOOD ones! They are so easy to please that this was one of the “best day ever kind of days”!!!
