The rapper (Silas) and his bodyguard (Callan). They also pulled a twinsie with their BFF’s Grant and Rhett.

The little minion
B ay is…??? (but he is breaking out of his shell… he has only been a baseball player since he was 5 years old)
The mad dash from house to house… left way behind by the big kids. It was also FREEZING!
Callan had a girl ask him to be her “bae”. We did a little Instagram search and determined it to mean “before all else” and best described a close friend. So he said yes. This was him finding out that he now had a girlfriend! =)
Baylor’s last game as a 13U player was a “doozie”. We left the tourney runner up after 12 (maybe 13 innings of back and forth play). Baylor played excellent. The other team (from my hometown) had some questionable coaching as well as a questionable bat. I hated for the season to end on that note, but we were able to leave it on the field and head home with heads held high!
Eliza LOVES gymnastics. She has gotten her backhandspring this fall (I only have video that won’t publish here). She also loves trying to climb this rope each week. She cannot quite make it to the top… YET!
Cruz’s coach keeps score on the Game Changer App and it always produces a “title story” I had to save this one for him to see in the future.
When he is torturing Baylor… He had us rolling with laughter. He was pretending he was a softball girl doing the “roundhouse” pitch and throwing a dog toy at Baylor. The sound effects and facial expressions were hilarious.
Kindergarten always goes to Gentry’s Farm in October. Sadly, mom signed up for the 4th grade field trip before she knew about the Kinder one. Oh well, he had a BLAST!
With his baseball buddies!
The fourth grade takes a walking tour of Nashville each year, I was so glad to get to tag along. I would have taken more photos… but there are rules against that now. You can’t take pics of other people’s kids (oops).
We thought this side by side of Baylor from 6th grade to 7th grade was telling.
The 2nd grade classes have been raising butterflies from caterpillars. Today was their release day. They sang songs and recited poems before going out to release them.
Eliza was one of the first ones that was able to gently touch one.
Since sending the kids back to school, I decided to be full force, available. It is easy to do when your kid is in Kindergarten because they need so much help. My early volunteering paid off… I was awarded with the PTO volunteer of the month and got prime parking!
Callan likes to pull the “smolder” every now and then. Sometimes I look at him and am taken aback at how fast he is growing and changing.
