Thanksgiving Day Feast

New Song always has a big Thanksgiving Day Feast for the Pre-K through First Grade kiddos. They worked hard on crafts, songs, thankfulness and Friendship Stew. It was a fun day for the families to share.

When we were studying Ancient Egypt at school we did a lesson on what it took to mummify a person. The kids loved the lesson. It was prob.ably one of their favorites all year. Shea Phillips was in my Kinder homeroom

Veteran’s Day Parade

We decided to load up and head out the the Veteran’s Day Parade. Papa is always in it and we wanted to support him. We yelled and yelled for him but he did not see us. After the parade we made a quick stop to Winstead Hill in Franklin. It was a unique experience to look out over Franklin and see the same things that the soilders did so long ago.
