New Song- China

I spent a lot of time and energy trying to come up with creative ways to teach Ancient Civilizations to Kindergarten friends. They had a love hate relationship with our “feast” days. They loved the fun and festivities, they were unsure about the new and different food options.

Playdate!

These two have been waiting FOREVER for their turn to “switch-a-roo”. I guess we decided it was time! They had a blast playing. Cruz was embarassed to have his picture made.

Cow Eyeballs

Callan was not at all grossed out by the eyeball dissection at school. He loved every minute of it and “dug right in”. I snuck away from my class to get a few pictures.

Back to school is exhausting!

 

This boy says he is too big to take naps… he does not need them anymore!!!

We also don’t like that we don’t get home from school (in Cool Springs) until after dark. Too much!!!

A new beginning

Nothing like starting the new year with a “fresh face”. After a lot of begging, and maybe a little teasing, we convinced Bay he needed to take care of what he was growing on his face. He was not happy that I was documenting the moment, but it is not every day that you shave for the first time EVER! I don’t like it, I don’t like it at all!

I guess he was still recovering from staying up late for the new year, he could not even make it home from church!
