It is a good thing that the little ones can find some fun most anywhere they go… we spend a lot of time at the ball fields!

Callan- baseball

Somehow I managed to miss taking a single photograph of Callan’s Spring Baseball season… and only have a few of the Fall season. Callan loves baseball, but has been struggling. Most games, I try to video so he can see what just is not clicking. I also laid off the photography because he was putting so much pressure on himself to perform. I did not want to make him think about anything else while he was there. Callan did a great job this Fall and started hitting the ball again. He also did a great job at first base for his team.

Four Eyes

Nothing like going to the eye doctor just as a “lets rule all things out” precaution, only to find out your child cannot see.

 

I think he is so stinking cute in his glasses!

Birthday Girl

It is so hard to believe that this girl is 8 years old. All she requested for her birthday was to spend the day with her buddy Ella Kate (that she never gets to see much anymore since they do not go to NSCA). She asked for Olive Garden and Pedicures. That I can do!

Wisdom

We went to Nommie and Gandie’s house for Gandie’s birthday and Labor Day. I caught Cruz cuddling up to my Pa. I thought it so sweet and thought for a moment how much my Pa has seen through the years and how things have changed in his 88 years of life. The man who left school in 8th grade to work the farm with his dad has so much wisdom that cannot be found in any book.
