Awards Day

I was proud to receive word that Cruz was selected as an award winner for his class this semester. I was even more proud that he got it for “Citizenship”

He was so embarrassed, he nearly RAN across the stage, bypassing the hug from his teacher and bolting to the other side.

Thankfully I captured a few of him handing his award to the PE Coach and walking back to his seat.

Santa

I was feeling guilty that technically Cruz has never gone to sit on Santa’s lap. I put a random post on facebook asking if anyone knew of a Santa location that did not involve heading to the mall… a few hours later (after some FB magic) Santa shows up at our door.  We quickly invited some friends over to join in on the fun.
