AND THEN... he was 2

Happy Birthday, Cruz Williamson!!!
Getting his first LEFTY glove
Chocolate Sprinkle Donuts for Breakfast!!!

OH WHAT A JOY you are at 2, Cruz!!! We love your personality and you keep all of us laughing daily. You are so BIG and want to do all the big boy things, but you are so sweet and gentle and love nothing more than momma rocking you to sleep each night with your monkey. You love to dance, and sing, and you swing a bat like nobody's business. You stick close to momma and sissy (at ball games) and you seem shy when others try to talk to you. But, you are confident and brave. Daddy and I tell each other all the time that we don't remember your other brothers being this much fun and we say more times than we can count "He is SO STINKIN' CUTE!!!"

State Champions!!!!

Baylor's team finished the season STRONG with a State Championship!!! They won the State Title for 10 Under Majors Teams. We were so proud!!

Baylor- some plays I want you to be able to look back and remember. In the final game of the Championship you were playing the Knoxville fire and were neck and neck. You got up to bat and hit a solid base hit. That is all it should have been but Rhett got into a pickle between 2nd and 3rd and the Fire made a bad overthrow error. The single base hit ended up becoming a Grand Slam and put you all up by 4 more runs!! I still get excited thinking about it. You also had 2 or 3 diving catches in the outfield. I believe your coaches even called them "ESPN worthy". In the Championship game you were on 1st base and blocked up everything that came to you. You did not let anything get by you. You even got to make the final out of the game with Rhett throwing you a shot from short stop. I really hope you always love and enjoy playing this game as much as you do now. No matter how hard it is some days on our family, the joy in watching you play something you love is always worth it!!!

Camp Nic-a-Jack

We just cannot get enough of Camp Nic-a-Jack. Every year some member of the Jones fam needs to hone their swimming skills. Silas went last year, but this was Eliza's first go at it. As always, it did not disappoint. They go in the beginning of the week with a little fear and they come out swimming like fish.

Gregory Clan

While my brother and his wife (partners in youth ministry) were at Union University at Centrifuge Church Camp, the kids came here with Nommie for a vist. We had a blast celebrating Jackson's birthday and just hanging out.

(Eliza so you will know that momma does not dress you hoochie like her momma did =) You were on the way out to swim lessons.)

Silas- Braves Baseball

Silas' team had an AWESOME season. They went undefeated in the regular season, in the league tournament, and they only lost one game in the county tournament to the #2 team. That loss caused a county playoff where we won the County Championship in a nail biter of a game. I am so impressed with this 6 year old team. It was a BLAST!!! (It also seems like I got to attend way more of his games with my camera in tow)

My Silas playing 2nd base.
Ready to "SMACK" it!
Such a cute kiddo.
Heritage Rec Champions
The entire BRAVES 6U team.
I could not resist the cute-ness.
A second trophy for the County Championship
Listening intently as the coach talks about the game.
It looks like he is straining to hold the mega trophy =)

How Cruz is entertained at the ball field- Part II

A grape slushie and a spoon bought me about 20 minutes.
