A lot of people have been asking... now that Christmas is over and the holidays have come and gone... what is new? Well... in a nutshell NOTHING! But... I feel it. I feel like something is happening and hopefully we will find out soon. I will let you know.

Plus... I know that she is due another Dr. visit. One this Friday to be exact. I probably will not get the update until Monday or so, but just knowing that one is coming is fun. It is kind of like waiting for a gift you know is coming and you know it is something you have been really wanting.

Sadly... while I wait... I cannot control myself when I come across stuff like this on sale!!!

A little retail therapy

Today I met my mom at the "Hippopotamus Mall"... the big local outlet mall with Rainforest Cafe (and a mechanical hippo) in it. My kids call it Nommie's Mall or the Hippopotamus Mall. Anyway I could not resist a quick swing through Carter's to pick up a few things. I love the new Garden Party sets... I had to have a few of those...




Her first shirt with princess on it and her first mini skirt... plus a cute sweater




AND... la piece de resistance... my first ever girl's swim suit purchase!!!!

Not really an update... but kind-of

I got a message from my case manager today... this is what it said...

I just talked to T and she mentioned that you are top of her list for inquiry. She hopes to get some type of answer by the end of this week. Please note that a majority of the outlying civil registries are STILL closed – enjoying their holidays. Yes, things are much slower there.

When you have no news... your mind runs wild...

So... I have been thinking and wishing and praying and hoping... I know there is a plan and I know it will all work out just as it is supposed to... but fancy this for a minute...
WHAT IF... my lawyer did go pick up my paperwork from the Civil Registry... and what if she went ahead and took it to the Embassy AND waited for it to be cleared and just took it with her. Because you see in my funny little head I can believe that it could happen... and I would not get the GUATNOTICE e-mail because you get that e-mail telling you it can be picked up... and they did not send it to me, because she already picked it up.

AND while we are dreaming... if all of that REALLY did happen... I could be in PGN and not know it...

DON"T WAKE ME UP... OKAY... I want to stay right in this dream until I know otherwise!

Look what my hubby did for me!!!

As part of my Christmas present and one of the things on the "To Do List" since moving into our house last November, my hubby finished this up today and yesterday.

Our laundry room came with one of those plastic coated wire shelves above the washer and dryer. He put in the cabinets... he also built ( with help from his dad) this cubbie for the boys bags and "stuff". I LOVE IT!!!
