The kids and I made a news release (and the news) when we went and took part in the official opening of 840 through Williamson County. It was 14 years in the making. All of which my dad has worked for the TDOT. It has been through 4 or 5 governors, most of which were present at the ribbon cutting. It was a fun, landmark day for the state. But more importantly, Gandie got to tell my kids what the divits in the side of the road were called and what they were really for.

Thanksgiving Feast in Kindergarten
Eliza does not have to work hard to look like a Native American. She can rock it and loves doing so.The Kinder, 1st grade, and Pre-K classes at New Song held a Thanksgiving Feast. It was so sweet to see the kids sharing a meal, and I was surprised to watch as Eliza stood in front of all classes and parent and say (loudly) what she was thankful for. I might have gotten a little teary!

Happy Halloween
This year we opted out of going to the church Fall Festival because it gets increasingly harder to keep up with 5 kiddos going different directions. Daddy was in charge of the concessions at Fall Festival so I knew going along was going to be stressful for me. We chose instead to roam the neighborhood with our good buddies. I wish I had pictures of the whole crew together. They were so much fun! I am thankful the Mr. Bobby is good with keeping up with the door to door runners and Sonja and I could stroll with the slow crowd. I am also thankful also that Mr. Bobby can take care of a small cheerleader who decided to Bop along with the runners. I did not realize my cheerleader was missing until we all reappeared at the Morgan’s (score for the Mom of the Year Award).
My cheerleader!
Since Bay left with Brent around 3:30 to go help out at the church, I did not get a photo of him prior to our adventures. Thankfully, Daddy sent me one. It does not get any better than Duck Dynasty, JACK!

First Settlers
Recycling
Eliza was studying Recycling at school and had to make a object out of leftover materials. She also spent the day in Science at school making paper out of recycled materials.
