Mother’s Day Tea

The Pre-K, Kinder, and First Grade Classes hosted a Mother’s Day Tea at New Song this year. It was so sweet and brought me to tears. I had to speak to a reason that I loved my child and I was so choked up, I almost could not do it. It is a joy, honor and privilege to get to be her mom! We enjoyed some cupcakes, tea, and a sweet song written by the Creator’s Writing teacher.

Strawberry Pickin’

We made a homeschool pit stop at the Strawberry Patch. The kids LOVED it once they figured out how to search out the GOOD ones! They are so easy to please that this was one of the “best day ever kind of days”!!!

apply your eyeblack!!! Funny thing was that Rhett was trying to write #10 on Silas face. Silas is always #10. Has been for years. This year he is #6!

Baseball has never been this cute!!!

Well, Cruz says that God told him that he could play baseball. I guess he had been asking for a while, and I guess God thought honoring his request could bring Him some Glory… because Cruz is playing baseball (even when Mom and Dad said “No, we are not ready for that yet!”)

Pure joy is seeing this sucker face so very happy!

 

 

We hit the ball, but did not do as good as we do at home. All the attention and people watching seemed to make him nervous.

He ran hard, and was ready to run to second.

He also watches his big brothers slide into second base a lot. His slide was a little early, but he got there.

Now it was time for a little fielding. First up… First Base! I would love to know what was going through his mind while he was staring down the base runner.

Cruz was invited to play on a South Williamson T-ball team. When we told him he had practice, he could not have been more excited and READY TO GO!!!
