Painting Reindeer

So how did I keep myself busy today... I painted homemade Reindeer sweatshirts with my sons Kindergarten class. Auctually it was nice... theraputic even. Some days I miss teaching and interacting with little people ( and then you get one who does not listen).

I still expected to come home to some kind of information... NOPE! We are still on the wait for news. The director has been in DC and has a backlog of e-mail. Hopefully... tomorrow.

On another note... someone I do not even know... except through this adoption lost her child today. I do not feel like I can share, but pray that her family finds healing and hope.

Big Ben... Parliment...

I am trying to be patient... I know it is part of my journey... BUT I am supposed to hear something TODAY! The agency director did not guarentee it today but said should be by today. I have heard nothing ( about my PA and getting it fixed). It has been 2 weeks since I have heard anything. I need to know it is going to be okay. I need some kind of reassurance... I need my daughter to come home soon... and the more we wait the longer it will take. I feel like I am going around in circles. ( Maybe the circle in front of Big Ben and The Parliment... thus the title) "Trust in the Lord be brave and strong and trust in the Lord. "Psalm 27:4

PJ PARTY

My mom took one of those hold the camera yourself pictures while in Guatemala. We were all ready for bed in our PJ's. I love the look on Eliza's face... she is just happy to be one of the girls. ( ME TOO MY DEAR!!!)

Where are we

Okay... now that this is offically up and working, I will give a little update about where we stand.
We are in Family Court... we have been since September 27th. Our interviews with the Birth Mother and Foster Mother ended on October 19th. We are offically 5 weeks and 5 days past interviews. ( they say average is 6-8 weeks). I think it is time to be OUT of family court.

We do not have PA... we should... but we do not. The day I thought we were going to get it (because others all around us timeline wise were posting that they were getting theirs) We got an I-72 notice instead. Basically they need more information... and they HAVE to have it by Dec. 11th or they consider our application for orpahan VOID. Hopefully we will hear something on that soon!!! LIKE TOMORROW!!!!

My mom "took" me down ( with her airline miles) to visit her just last week. We had a blast and my heart really longs for her. She had a rash and I do not know even how she is now. It is so hard to be totally in control for several days and then not even hear how she is for weeks. UGH... I cannot wait until she is HOME!!!!

Trying again...

I tried to do this... will it work?
Now that is more like it!

On our way...

Okay... here we go again... before I spend a lot of time posting things... I am going to see if this will even work. I had to delete my old one and create a new one (I almost just threw the computer out the window)
