When she decides to do something, she does it.
When she needs to potty, she strips down naked and goes. No help from mommmy (even though she has to CLIMB the potty and walk around the rim to sit on it). I do not know she has gone until she comes to me naked to tell me her business.
When she decides the dog needs out... she lets her out THE FRONT DOOR. We had to buy the dog a collar with a tag on it so we could put our phone number on it because someday Stella is just going to run after one of the passerbys and not just to visit our neighbor dogs Turbo and Sophie.
When she decides that she wants food, she gets it. We have found her scaling the top shelf of the pantry hanging on for dear life, but not saying a word because she knows the good stuff is up on the top shelf.
When she decides to take all of brothers stickers he just got at a birthday party and stick them all over her body just to hear him scream, she does it and smiles.
When she decides she wants to blow the bubbles that are out on the deck, she goes (most of the time naked) and climbs on the table gets the bubbles and opens them up and pours most of them out trying to get the stick.
When she decides that she does not feel like napping, she just gets out of bed and plays... no matter how many times I tell her the consequences of doing that.
When she decides that she does not feel like sleeping, she comes downstairs and sits in a quiet chair so no one can see or hear her and she just stays there (for 30 minutes) until Daddy goes to get something and she scares the poop out of him.
When she is the first to wake up and decides that everyone else needs to be up, she goes in their room and tells them to "GIT UP".
When she wants to wet her hair down and brush it, she does... but gets the entire bathroom wet in the process.
She is VERY independent. And I don't mind that at all. The problem I seem to be having is that I guess the boys would dictate to me what they were doing... like "Mom, I am going to go blow bubbles" or "I am going potty" or "Stella wants out". But she is saving her words (evidently for our teenage battles) because she just quietly goes about her day doing whatever she pleases and is keeping mommy on her toes just trying to stay 2 steps behind her.
Miss Eliza, if my brothers can climb a tree so can I!
