Baylor’s 11U team went undefeated in the BPA state tournament to take home the Championship Trophy! BPA 11U Majors State Champion!
It really seems weird for Cruz to be turning 3. He is my first baby to turn 3 without another one on the way. I have really enjoyed his crazy 2 year old self… and his three year old self is only getting crazier and funnier. This one just might send me to the loony bin by the time I can get him off to college.
A few of his “LOVES”… he loves his monkey blankies. He has 2 and he has to have both of them for nap and bed.
He loves Bubble Guppies and Team Umizoomi. He loves “brothers” and when you ask him “Are you a baby?” He says “NO! I brother!” He loves playing outside and always with a ball or a bat in his hand and loves jumping on the trampoline.
He thinks you need to turn a movie on in the car even if you are just riding down the street, and (right now) he thinks a sneak attack hit and run is AWESOME (Mom is working on that).
He just got to move into a new room with Silas (so Callan could have his own room) and thinks he is SO BIG. In fact he is SO BIG, he voluntarily goes in “his” room at least 10 times a day to change clothes in his “new” room.
He has spent all summer at the pool and even though he wears a puddle jumper, he loves being in the water floating around the entire time we are there.
He has so much personality, he is the biggest stinker, and I could just eat him I love him so much!
Silas was blessed with the opportunity to play for the Heritage All Star team again this season. I was really proud of him and of how much he has grown this year.
Silas on first base, with his head coach, Coach Shannon.
Silas spent most of All Stars playing the pitcher position. He did a great job and made several outs.
During the District Tourney he was able to move over to Second Base a little and did a fabulous job there as well making several outs and taking a full on running hit to the body that knocked him flat to the ground (and left a knot bruise on his chin). After a little coaxing (that may or may not have awarded me with the mother of the year award) he kept going strong to finish out the game (Thank goodness for a Pediatrician as a mom on the team).
The team placed second in the district against an amazing team. We had lots of fun and got to know some great families.
For the first time ever, both Baylor and Callan got to go to Cross Camp with the church. They had a fabulous time with friends and learning some independence from home. They had a fabulous time and made years worth of memories.
Callan played another season with the Yankees at Heritage this year, and had a successful season. Callan still struggled with being afraid of the ball, but I think he finally decided in the end to overcome that fear.
Silas played with the (throwback) Astros with some of our favorite people. He had a great season and did great for his first time in Spring Machine Pitch moving up as starting pitcher for most games.
Cruz needed the coach to hurry up with the after game talk… he needed a trip to the potty. (I could not resist)
The Astros walked away with a 3rd place trophy in the Heritage League. For a team of young, new kids, I could not be more proud!
Callan’s team walked away with first place in the Heritage League. They played some tough competition and fought hard for it. I am very proud of his team.
It does not seem possible for Eliza to be getting big enough to go to big school (and I even kept her back a year). Eliza finished up her years at KOTK with a sweet program.A big hug from director, Mrs. Chris.
The official diploma from our favorite (and only ever) Pre-K teacher Ms. Ann-Marie.
What is school without great friendships?
All my children so far have had Ms. Ann-Marie and I so appreciate her for all she does and her soft, tender heart towards everything.
So proud of Eliza and how much she has grown and learned these past few years.
