I had to document Baylor’s first ever travel ball, over the fence, homerun ball. It was a long time coming and he was patient and PROUD!!! I was the mom screaming in the car, waking up Cruz who was sleeping on the road, and watching in slow motion as it traveled over the fence!

Coyotes Football
I am really not sure what we have gotten ourselves into with letting Callan try some football. He needed a break from baseball and as it turns out, football is pretty good for him. He LOVES it. I am not in love with the 4 practices a week and the 2 hours required to arrive prior to the game, but we do what we have to.
This is Callan’s first time to put on the official practice gear…
They did not fare so well in their first two Jamborees (that Callan missed because of our planned vacation) but they did win their first official home game against the Hendersonville Titans. All the other games have not gone as well. But to say that we learned a lot is an understatement, and I am fairly certain that Callan will be anxious for football again come next fall.
Here Callan is playing Center. This ended up being his starting position most games.

Let It Shine
Eliza picked to have a gymnastics party for her birthday. She had a blast (except for the jumpy thing that pulled her in the air). I had a camera that was not working. Thank goodness for the iPhone!!! I did not get to capture everyone, but glad I got a few so she will have proof that her party was there. =)

First Day of School 2012
We are still homeschooling this year, but adding a tutorial 2 days a week at New Song Christian Academy. This kids are excited about this new adventure and so am I. I think it will be the perfect balance of what we need in our homeschooling adventures.
Even though I held her out an extra year, I still cannot fathom that this beauty is starting Kindergarten. I am not sure I am ready!!!I pray this little man grows by leaps and bounds this year. He is most nervous about the “new” school, but then again he would prefer just to stay at home all day anyway.
This one is thrilled because he has buddies he knows well in his class. When I thought for a moment that I might only send Eliza and Baylor, this one had a case to present.
Littlest brother is not to be left out (notice he is copy cating Callan’s wall pose). He cannot wait for school!
MIDDLE SCHOOL???? I really don’t know if I am ready for this. I am personally still getting over my middle school years how can I send one into the fire? I am hoping New Song will be just what our family needs.
